Chocolate 'milk'

I guess I'm all about food this week! Oh well, inspiration is a matter of all of our senses, including taste. If you're not into dairy, but do like (chocolate) 'milk' you'll love this recipe. Hope you've got (access to) a blender though...

Ingredients (serves 4):
1/2 cup of brazil nuts, soaked in water for 6-8 hours (or use any other nut or seed that you like)
5 cups of water
3 medjool dates
pinch of (Himalayan pink) sea salt
1 heaped table spoon of (raw) cacao powder (optional)

Put everything into a high-speed blender, blend for 30-40 seconds until really, really smooth and serve immediately. Hmmmmm ;-)

P.S.: if you haven't got a high-speed blender, put everything except the cacao into your regular blender and blend until as smooth as possible. Pour through a straining cloth. Stir in cacao powder and serve. Should be just as hmmmmm!
